Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It applies to drjnichols.com only.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Information you give us

The contact form on this site asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, the type of enquiry, and your message. Nothing on the form is required beyond your name, email address and message.

Form submissions are stored in this website’s database and sent by email to justin@drjnichols.com. They are read by Dr. Nichols. They are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.

Please do not send confidential material through this site

Do not use the contact form to send patient records, protected health information, or confidential case documents. The form is for initial enquiries only. Sending a message does not create a doctor–patient relationship or an attorney–expert engagement, and material sent before an engagement is confirmed may not be treated as confidential. Wait until an engagement is agreed and a secure method has been arranged.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the web server keeps standard access logs that may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you requested. These are generated by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

This site uses cookies only for essential functions such as page caching and, if you are a logged-in administrator, your session. It does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking or profiling tools of any kind.

Who else handles your data

  • The web hosting provider, which stores the site and its database and generates server logs.
  • The email provider that delivers form notifications to Dr. Nichols.
  • If you choose to book an appointment, the third-party scheduling service linked from this site, which collects information under its own privacy policy.

No other party receives your information unless the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are retained while they remain relevant to a potential or ongoing engagement, and are deleted once they are not. You may ask for your enquiry to be deleted at any time.

Your choices

You may ask what information about you is held, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email justin@drjnichols.com and the request will be handled promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.

Children

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

This site is not medical or legal advice

Content on this website, including clinical case images and articles, is provided for general information. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or legal advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional about your own situation.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
